U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), member of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee today issued the following statement in response to the announcement of a Special Counsel appointed to investigate the classified documents found at Biden’s residence:
“Everything about this debacle – from the way it trickled out into the public sphere to Joe Biden claiming to be surprised that classified documents were in his possession – demonstrates the compete hypocrisy of Democrats and their allies in the corrupt corporate media. Following years of politicization by Democrats who have weaponized the Justice Department and given what we now know about the handling of matters pertaining to the Bidens, I have deep concerns in this DOJ to legitimately investigate this case without bias.”
