LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, an outdoor lifestyle shopping center, is ushering in the holiday season with its annual Tree Lighting Festival, presented by long-standing title sponsor—Texas Children’s Hospital. The event is set to be held on Friday, November 18 from 6 – 9 p.m.
“We are so excited to kick off the holiday season with our annual Tree Lighting ceremony, alongside a plethora of shopping and entertainment options for the whole family to enjoy,” said Zach Reynolds, Marketing Director at LaCenterra. “The holiday season is a very special time of year and we’re grateful to bring this favorite, longtime tradition back to the Katy community once again.”
As per tradition, LaCenterra will welcome Santa and his helpers to light up the center’s 51-foot Christmas Tree in the Heritage Square Courtyard. In addition to the tree lighting ceremony, the entire courtyard will transform into a winter wonderland as snow machines fill the night air with non-toxic snow flurries for an added magical experience.
Guests will have the opportunity to participate in various activities, including multiple new attractions, such as:
- Capture memories in inflatable snow globes
- Meet and take photos with live reindeer and Santa’s sleigh
- Enjoy a musical performance by Danny Ray Band
- Play at the OMG mobile video game truck
- Explore community activity and festival food vendors
- Interact with holiday costume characters and performers
While Santa will not be available to take photos with guests during the festival, guests are encouraged to come back for Storytime with Santa and Pet Pics with Santa where photo opportunities will be available.
