Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Supports Breast Cancer Awareness, Raises $30,000 for Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

Members of the Kelsey-Seybold Cancer Center care team laced up their sneakers and wore bright pink as a show of patient support at the Komen Race for the Cure® in downtown Houston on Sat., Oct. 1. The annual fundraising race brought together members of the breast cancer community and those impacted by the disease. Team Kelsey-Seybold raised over $30,000 for Komen, which included $5,800 in monetary donations and $25,000 through its annual employee T-shirt fundraiser. The money raised for Susan G. Komen will be used for breast health education, breast cancer prevention, advocacy, and treatment.
