Prairie View A&M University is offering a “Farmers Fund Grant” opportunity through their Small Farm Institute for a limited amount of time. Applications will be screened then rewarded on a “first come, first served” basis until funds are fully utilized. All applications are due by September 15th, 2022. This grant is available for socially disadvantaged, limited resource, and underrepresented farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners in the state of Texas. The Farmers Fund Grant can be applied towards Heirs property issues, all types of agricultural operations including but not limited to conventional and organic crops, forestry, wildlife, and livestock operations.
