The fourth annual A Taste of CyFair is scheduled for October 1st, 2022, offering ample sampling of local eateries, beer, and wine, as well as local entertainment and market vendors, a silent auction, and more.
A Taste of Cy-Fair will take place in Cypress, Texas, at the Bridgeland Village Center on October 1st, 2022, with General and VIP admissions available. Organizers expect to serve event-goers more than 40 local Cy-Fair and Houston restaurants, 40 different wines and beers, local Cy-Fair and Houston artisans and businesses, a silent auction, live music, various forms of entertainment, and more. The restaurant lineup includes favorites like Backyard Grill, Dario’s Steakhouse & Seafood, Union Kitchen, Rock N Roll Sushi, D’Vine Wine Bar, Alicia’s Mexican Grille, Land of a Thousand Hills, Mimi D Meatballs, Creekwood Grille, Marvinio’s Italian Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse, Galiana’s Tex Mex & Agave Bar, Texas Mesquite, Suzybeez Bakery, LaViva, Passerella, Senate Avenue, Nomad BBQ, Crust Pizza, and more are expected to sign up. The event will offer a robust selection of wines to sample along with beloved beers such as No Label, Karbach, Spindletap, Eureka Heights, Saint Arnolds, B-52, 11 Below, Klaus, Real Ale, Fullbrook Aleworks, Brazos Valley, Paradigm, Nola, and Austin Eastciders, just to name a few. There will also be local Cy-Fair and Houston artisans and businesses, a silent auction, and various forms of entertainment, including live music from Randy Hulsey on the main stage and Nate Gordon playing the VIP area.
A Taste of Cy-Fair began in 2017 with a handful of Cy-Fair and Houston business owners and residents who wanted to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. “A Taste of Cy-Fair first started to help Cy-Fair families and friends affected by Hurricane Harvey but has evolved into an annual event benefitting Cy-Hope,” says Robin Beattie, Squeaky Wheel Branding & Marketing owner and one of the founding board members. “It’s a wonderful local event organized and run by local business owners, residents, sponsors, and countless volunteers.”
A Taste of Cy-Fair has continued to raise needed funds for Cy-Hope. The first annual event in 2017 raised approximately $20,000, the second in 2018 raised approximately $40,000, and the third in 2019 raised just under $60,000. “We’ve continued to organize this event to raise money for Cy-Hope,” said Mark McShaffry, restaurant owner and founding board member. “Every year, we try to outperform the previous year in order to raise essential funding for the incredible charitable work Cy-Hope does year-round,” said Mark.
After two years of hiatus due to COVID, A Taste of Cy-Fair will return in 2022 for the fourth year with a renewed focus on raising funding for Cy-Hope. The Cy-Hope mission is to make life better for all kids in the Cy-Fair community. They have nine programs to support their mission and consistently make a difference in the Cy-Fair community. “We cannot do what we do without the support of the community and partners like A Taste of Cy-Fair. Their generous donations since 2017 have made it possible for Cy-Hope to expand our programs and bring HOPE to more students in CFISD. We sincerely appreciate all those who have worked and supported A Taste of Cy-Fair. We are humbled and grateful to again be chosen as the recipient of the proceeds from this event and are looking forward to it”, said Holly Calbat of Cy-Hope.
The fourth annual A Taste of Cy-Fair event will again be planned and executed by passionate volunteers. “We are super excited to be back and hope to make the 2022 event the best one yet!” said Kristen Grider, another founding board member. “As always, it’s going to be a fun event that no one will want to miss.” In addition to general admissions, there will be a VIP experience offered that includes one-hour early event entry, a private tent, premium bites, wines and beers, dedicated entertainment, seating areas, a goodie bag, and more. VIP access will be limited and is expected to sell out before the event.
A Taste of Cy-Fair, #ATasteOfCyfair, will take place rain or shine on October 1st, 2022, at the Bridgeland Lakeland Village Center in Cypress, Texas, 10615 Fry Road, Cypress, TX 77433. General admission is from 5 pm-8 pm, and VIP early admissions start is at 4 pm.

Ticket prices will increase by $5 starting September 24th, 2022. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event at the entry gate.
