Cane Island Hosts Return of End of Summer Bash!

Katy’s Cane Island will host the return of its popular End of Summer Bash on Saturday, August 13 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. when the community’s Cane Quarter is filled with children’s activities, gourmet food trucks, shopping finds from local vendors and spirited performances by the cheer squads of Katy Junior High and Katy High School.

Cane Quarter is located at 2100 Cane Island Parkway, just past the community’s main entrance and signature Living Arches. The event is open to the public. Admission is free with ample onsite parking available.

Families will enjoy bounce houses and face painting, food trucks, Chick-fil-A and the Tiff’s Treats cookie truck. Plus, several local vendors will join Kendra Scott in presenting a variety of fun shopping finds. The community’s showcase model homes, each fully furnished and expertly decorated, also will be open for public tours.

Cane Island’s End of Summer Bash comes just days before the opening of the community’s new onsite Robertson Elementary, situated within walking distance of Cane Island neighborhoods. Robertson Elementary PTA and staff will be in attendance to discuss the new Katy ISD school.

To reach the Katy community of new homes, take the Cane Island Parkway exit off Interstate 10 minutes west of the Grand Parkway. Head north on Cane Island Parkway and take the roadway directly into the community.

Cane Island’s Welcome Center, located in Cane Quarter, and its model homes are open daily.
