ShareLunker 623 is heading back to Eagle Mountain Lake between 10-10:30 a.m. Friday following a successful spawn at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center (TFFC) in Athens. Angler Robert Bandy, his family, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Inland Fisheries staff from the Dallas Fort-Worth District along with TFFC staff will be on hand for the release event.
Bandy reeled in 16-pound ShareLunker 623 Sunday, Feb. 27 and set a new waterbody record, eclipsing the previous mark by almost three pounds. It also became one of the top 50 Texas largemouth bass of all time. The event will take place at 9033 Crosswind Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76179.
