The Katy chapter of AARP will meet Tuesday February 8 at the Fussell Senior Center 5370 E 5th St in Katy.
The meeting will start at 6:30pm with a short meeting and announcements followed by entertainment by vocalist Poppy. Visitors are welcome.
Keturah’s Haven Gala of Giving
Keturah’s Haven, a home for homeless pregnant women is having its 3rd Annual Gala of Giving. The event will be held at The Bowery House and Gardens in Katy from 6:30-9:30 pm on Thursday February 24th. The Gala will feature a meal catered by Front Door Gourmet, speaker Pastor Adam Jungeblut from Parkway Fellowship (North), a photo booth, and a silent auction.
Keturah’s Haven is a faith-based organization that has helped 42 women in the last 2 ½ years. They provide a safe home until the baby comes while mentoring and teaching life skills needed for the future. To buy tickets or learn more, visit www.keturahshaven.org.
