Celebrate Island Cuisine During Galveston Restaurant Week

More than 30 Galveston Restaurants to Participate Jan. 17-Feb. 13

Visitors to Galveston will be able to start their new year off in a delicious way during Galveston Restaurant Week taking place Jan. 17-Feb. 13. The event will bring the island’s vibrant food scene to life for weeks of dining that will showcase the tastiest culinary gems Galveston has to offer.

More than 30 restaurants will participate in this year’s event, which is a once-a-year opportunity for diners to try top dishes on prix-fixe breakfast, lunch and dinner menus at attractive price points. Two- and three-course dinners will be priced between $20 and $45 while two-course lunches, breakfasts and brunches will cost between $10 and $20.

“This year marks the 11th annual for Galveston Restaurant Week,” Galveston Chapter of the Texas Restaurant Association, President James Clark said. “The event is a great opportunity for residents and visitors to get out and try new spots to add to their list of favorite restaurants.”

This year, diners will also have the opportunity to help charitable causes. Participating restaurants will donate from $1 to $5 from each menu item to local non-profits that focus on feeding, supporting and providing health care to Galveston children and families. Recipients are Galveston Urban Ministries, Access Care of Coastal Texas and St. Vincent’s House.
