The Central Fort Bend Chamber, the Fort Bend Chamber and the Fort Bend Economic Development Council are hosting the “Inside Texas Politics – Notes from the Fort Bend Delegation” Luncheon, with Title Sponsor Kevin Patton State Farm Agency, on December 16, 2021, at Safari Texas Ranch, 11627 FM 1464, Richmond, TX from 11:30AM – 1:00PM. The 87th Texas Legislature proved to be productive in the end, regardless of a few bumps in the road along the way. When all was said and done after the close of the Legislature, plus three special sessions, some of the highlights included: power grid reform, a near-total ban on abortions, new voting restrictions, new redistricting maps, a more secure border, support for the police, constitutional carry, and a proposed constitutional amendment that could lower property taxes.
