This Thanksgiving, restauranteur Kellie Messer has a lot to be thankful for. Her Katy restaurant, Texas Borders celebrates 25 years in business.
Over the years, Messer has enjoyed serving her community in numerous ways. Whether chatting with regulars about how their life is going or feeding the community in their time of need, she has always been quick to step up and help out.
“Food is one of the things that community comes together over.” Messer stated. “I can’t believe I’ve been lucky enough to share my love of cooking and meeting new people for so many years!”
To celebrate, Messer is hosting a party on November 24thfrom 5 pm until closing, and everyone is invited. Runaway Radio will be performing from 7:30-10:30 pm and she is offering attendees a 25-cent specials on draft Bud Light, Kamikazies, Chips & Queso and Dan’s Fireball.
