The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Calf Scramble committees will host the 14th annual Calf Scramble Progress Show, where more than 220 Texas 4-H and FFA students will compete with fellow 2021 Calf Scramble winners, before returning to the show ring as an exhibitor at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in March 2022.

Participants include Texas 4-H and FFA members who successfully caught a calf during the 2021 Calf Scramble in Katy, Texas, and received a $1,750 certificate to apply toward the purchase of a registered beef heifer or market steer to show at the 2022 Houston Livestock Show™.

The Calf Scramble Progress Show includes a scramble heifer show and scramble steer show, followed by a showmanship competition. Participants will be joined by Calf Scramble donors, agricultural science teachers and county extension agents.
