Now, more than ever, more attention is needed for missing persons cases.
Families of the missing and members of the public are invited to this event to help bring much needed awareness to local missing loved ones and support for searching families. Families will have the opportunity to paint and personalize a rock to place at the base of the tree, which will be dedicated to missing persons. It will also be an opportunity to receive support from other families with a missing loved one.
WHERE: Mercer Arboretum (aka Mercer Botanic Gardens-West Side), 22306 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX 77338
WHEN: Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 10:00 AM

Please Note: We invite everyone to come out and join searching families to honor missing persons as we dedicate a memorial bench and tree planted in memory of those trying to find their way home. Walk along a path lined with missing person fliers as it leads to the tree orchard and bench. Once there, local representatives and families will have the opportunity to speak about how important it is to bring awareness to these cases. We will be providing a light lunch. We encourage families to bring beverages and/or snacks for a picnic style “mini” Thanksgiving, as we break bread and give thanks to those who support our families along this difficult journey. No one should walk through this alone.

Special Thanks to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Foundation for their financial support to make this event happen!
