For the second consecutive weekend, Katy hosted some enjoyable outdoor activities and ideal weather to accompany them.
Saturday afternoon, the Katy Heritage Society hosted the first annual Katy Heritage Carnival at Katy Heritage Park.
The carnival featured live music, a petting zoo, and an archery range, among other vendor booths and attractions.
The historic homes for which the park is known were open for tours, as was the city’s Johnny Nelson Katy Heritage Museum.
Earlier Saturday, Katy residents and visitors enjoyed the monthly Katy Market Day. Last week, the city hosted the annual Katy Rice Festival.
