The Butterfly Luncheon benefiting Houston Hospice and its Butterfly Program for pediatric hospice patients and their families is set for Friday, May 6, 2022, 11:00am – 1:00pm at the Junior League of Houston. Proceeds from the event support Houston Hospice and its Butterfly Program for pediatric hospice patients and their families.
“Our Houston Hospice Butterfly Luncheon is a wonderful opportunity to share the powerful journeys of our hospice families, clinical staff, donors, and volunteers,” said Aida Matic, Vice President of Development and Community Engagement. “We look forward to our annual spring event and will announce further details in the coming months.”
As one of the core, compassionate care services offered by Houston Hospice, The Butterfly Program is dedicated to the needs of children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Individualized care, education, advocacy, resources, and a dedicated hospice team are provided on a 24/7 basis. In addition, The Butterfly Team consists of highly trained, pediatric hospice physicians, nurses, nurse’s aides, social workers, chaplains, bereavement counselors, and volunteers.
