The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center presents the outdoor Superfine Summer Picnics series, held on the Arboretum grounds on eight Saturdays from Jul. 10 through Aug. 28. These all-inclusive picnics offer a curated experience including picnic supplies needed for a perfect date night or a group gathering, all while enjoying nature among the Arboretum’s beautiful surroundings. The process is made simple as guests just show up, enjoy the food and libations and then return the picnic supplies when done.
You can choose between a charcuterie or sandwich basket from A Bayou City Picnic, with vegetarian options available. There is enough food for two to four people, and each basket holds a complimentary 12-pack of Saint Arnold Brewing Company’s Superfine Seltzers.

WHO: The Houston Arboretum’s partners for Superfine Summer Picnics are A Bayou City Picnic and Saint Arnold Brewing Company.
COST: The cost for Arboretum members is $65; nonmembers will pay $75 (per picnic basket for two to four people). Ages 21 and older will receive a complimentary Saint Arnold 12-pack. Advance registration is required and closes on the Wednesday before each picnic. In the event of rain, registrations can be moved to a later picnic date.

PARKING: Parking is free for Arboretum Members and $5 for nonmembers and available at both the 610 Entrance and the Woodway Entrance to the Arboretum.
