Cane Island Continues Growth With Opening of New 50-Foot Sections

In a sign of its continued growth, the Katy master-planned community of Cane Island has opened three new sections of its popular 50-foot homesites where David Weekley Homes and Perry Homes will add three, four and five-bedroom family homes. The three new sections total 152 homesites.

“The 50-foot homesites are among our top sellers,” says Lawren Eckhardt, Cane Island director of marketing.  “They provide buyers with the ability to design a large family room on a smaller, more affordable footprint.”

Both David Weekley Homes and Perry Homes will offer single and two-story plans with features such as a gourmet island kitchen, spacious family room, inviting Owner’s Suite, media room, flex space for private or semi-private home office settings, and spacious outdoor entertaining spaces.

New homes by David Weekley will start in the $349s while those by Perry Homes are priced from the $370s. New move-in ready homes from both builders are expected to become available this fall.

Since its inception, the Katy community of new homes has grown steadily by attracting families with the convenience of immediate I-10 access, new homes by acclaimed builders and resort-style amenities.
