All Harris County Public Health vaccine sites are accepting people who do not have appointments, walk-ups or by car.  If you want to ensure there is enough vaccine available at the site you want to go to, it’s best to make an appointment on line at vacstrac.hctx.net or call 832-927-8787.  Vaccine site locations are below:

COVID-19 VACCINE SITES

COVID-19 vaccines provide protection from the virus, but for those who aren’t or can’t be vaccinated, testing is your next best defense.  Some adults haven’t been able to be vaccinated yet and children under 16 can’t be. Testing protects you by letting you know if you have COVID-19. If you do, you can monitor any symptoms to make sure you aren’t getting extremely ill and separate yourself from other people so you don’t infect them. Even though more and more people are getting vaccinated in Harris County, it’s still not enough to prevent new COVID-19 infections in our community. In addition, we have the COVID-19 variants, mutations of the virus, in Harris County. Don’t take chances, if you or your children aren’t vaccinated, get tested frequently until you are.

Children under 16 and adults can be tested at any of the HCPH sites listed below. Testing is free, easy to sign up for and quick at Harris County Public Health sites. You get your results in 3-5 days. Find a site near you and sign up for free testing at hcphtx.org  or call 832-927-7575.
