The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center presents the 2021 Alfresco Gala: A Roving Dinner at the Houston Arboretum on Apr. 23. This year marks the completion of the Arboretum’s transformational Master Plan. To celebrate this exciting moment, and to ensure safety for those who attend, the annual Alfresco Gala will be held along the Arboretum’s renovated trails and beautifully restored landscape as a roving dinner experience. Think of it as a “progressive dinner in a nature sanctuary.” Guests will enjoy delectable gourmet food and fine wines as they stroll in small groups under the evening sky.

Menu:

Seven course roving dinner beginning with escargot roasted in crushed tomato and basil, followed by handmade freshly prepared sushi, haystack salad and mushroom brie bisque, charcoal roasted beef, tofu, and acorn squash kabobs, savory duck and basil crepes, ending with a celebratory Earth Day trifle with commemorative terra cotta mug.

Note: vegetarian options are available upon request.
