Igloo Celebrates International Women’S Day With The Launch Of A Wonder Woman™ Playmate Illustrated By Artist Robin Eisenberg

Today, in celebration of International Women’s Day, Igloo and Warner Bros. Consumer Products in partnership with DC released a new Playmate cooler featuring an empowering Wonder Woman-inspired piece created by L.A. artist Robin Eisenberg. The limited-edition Igloo Wonder Woman™ x Robin Eisenberg Playmate Pal —only 100 units were produced, each with a custom hangtag numbered and signed by Eisenberg — is available now at igloocoolers.com/wonderwoman.

“Working with Robin Eisenberg, Warner Bros. and DC on this limited-edition Playmate has been an incredible experience,” said Alyssa Falso, Category Manager of Playmates and Partnerships at Igloo. “Robin’s body-positive piece inspired by this world-famous Super Hero radiates an uplifting confidence. To celebrate International Women’s Day, we’re excited to offer our consumers a cooler that showcases Robin’s inspiring artwork and keeps refreshments chilled as it accompanies them on their own adventures.”

In her piece, Eisenberg ties in fun and vibrant colors, an otherworldly, non-traditional art style, and, most notably, a Wonder Woman™-inspired character wearing a laidback version of the Super Hero’s costume and striking a confident pose. DC featured Eisenberg’s original Wonder Woman-inspired illustration as a new variant cover for its “Wonder Woman 1984” comic book.

And now, Eisenberg’s empowering illustration is prominently featured throughout all four panels of Igloo’s Wonder Woman™ x Robin Eisenberg Playmate cooler’s tent top. Igloo is releasing each of the 100 units of this special Playmate with a custom hangtag hand-numbered and signed by Eisenberg. With a 7-quart capacity, the Playmate Pal is built to keep refreshments ice-cold — up to nine 12-ounce cans — throughout the day.

“I always hope to create art that people might be able to see themselves in,” said Eisenberg. “I love combining aliens and otherworldly environments with familiar, relatable moments, and I created this piece with that same idea in mind — and with the idea that strength and beauty can come in many forms.”

Robin Eisenberg is an artist and animator from Los Angeles who is known for her art which often depicts confident, unapologetic aliens doing relatable things in outer space. She’s created art for some rad brands including Vans, Adobe, Netflix, Apple, Adult Swim, Thrasher, HBO, Doc Johnson and VEVO.

The limited-edition Wonder Woman™ x Robin Eisenberg Playmate Pal is available now for $39.99, while supplies last.
