Issues statement in advance of Christmas Day
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) issued the following statement in advance of Christmas Day:
“This Christmas, as so many families grapple with the challenges posed by the coronavirus, it is more important than ever to find renewed hope in celebrating the birth of Jesus. The Prince of Peace, born in Bethlehem, came so that we may know Him and his enduring love, joy, and redemption. May this Christmas be a joyous and hopeful season where we reflect on the promise of salvation.
“Heidi and I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. May God continue to bless the great state of Texas and the United States of America.”
