Katy4Justice Launches Their Newest Project, Masks4Migrants

Katy4Justice, the local youth-led social justice organization, has recently launched their newest project: Masks4Migrants!

After having organized a Black Lives Matter protest in Katy and fundraising more than $1,000 for Tony’s Place Houston (a shelter for homeless LGBTQ+ youth), Katy4Justice is now seeking to donate to the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES), a Texas-based non profit that aims to provide legal services and resources for immigrants.

RAICES Texas is a great aid for immigrant children, families, and refugees, providing low-cost legal help, social programs, bond assistance, and more for those in need.

This Katy4Justice-led fundraiser will be carried out through the sale of masks priced at $10 each.

These masks will feature a monarch butterfly design, a popular symbol of hope and rebirth among immigrant communities, and 100% of proceeds will be donated to RAICES Texas.

All masks can be pre-ordered through the Google Form link, https://tinyurl.com/masks4migrants.

You can always reach out to Katy4Justice and find additional information on their Facebook page, Instagram, and email.
