The Oaks Kitchen & Bar, Cane Island’s Onsite Restaurant, Adds Private Wine Lockers as Part of New Wine Club

There’s good news for Katy-area wine aficionados.

The Oaks Kitchen & Bar, the popular lunch and dinner spot in Katy’s Cane Island, has installed a collection of exclusive, climate-controlled wine lockers as part of the restaurant’s new Wine Locker Club.

Forty private wine lockers with stylish, glass-encased display windows allow club members to store wines purchased from the restaurant at an ideal, 58-degree wine cellar temperature.   Each locker’s nameplate also will don the name of their respective member.  The new wine lockers are available to the public on a first come-first served basis.

“They are a wonderful addition,” says Adam Pettit, general manager of The Oaks Kitchen & Bar.  “There’s a certain prestige that comes with having your own collection right in the restaurant.  When dining, members can request wines right from their locker.”

In addition to having a private wine locker to call their very own, club members will save 20 percent on wine bottles purchased in The Oaks Kitchen & Bar, 25 percent off wine dinners and free admission to monthly wine tastings.

“The wine program is a great way to connect our guests to the dining experience here in The Oaks,” Pettit adds.

Wine Locker Club memberships are $250 per six months.  Club members who spend $1,000 on wine in the restaurant during the six-month period will earn a complimentary membership for that time period.

Located within the Cane Island community of new homes at 2100 Cane Island Parkway, The Oaks Kitchen & Bar presents ranch-inspired American classics, signature plates, shareable appetizers, fresh salads, house-made desserts and pastries prepared fresh daily.  The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner Monday – Thursday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday Brunch is presented from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
