All Tax Offices to Open Monday, October 26th

Effective Monday, October 26, 2020, all Fort Bend County Tax Office locations will be open to the public. The second floor in Missouri City will remain temporarily closed to dealers at this time.  The Sienna office will be open 8am until 4:30pm each day and will not offer extended Monday hours at this time.

All Tax Office locations will enforce social distancing, so seating will be limited. Customers will also need to wear a face covering and submit to a temperature screening upon entering the office.

“We want to thank our customers for their patience as we made adjustments during this pandemic,” said Carrie Surratt, Fort Bend County Tax Assessor-Collector. “Balancing customer service and convenience with public health and safety has presented challenges. While we are excited to reopen all of our office locations, we also want to remind residents that we are not out of the COVID-19 woods yet. We strongly encourage everyone to continue using contact-free options whenever possible.”

Online registration renewal is available at renew.txdmv.gov, while property tax payments can be made at www.fortbendcountytx.gov/services/paypropertytaxes. Customers may also submit their transactions by mail or place them in one of our six drop boxes outside our buildings.
