RICHMOND, TX — Fort Bend County Judge Daniel Wong issued the following statement regarding the passing of long-serving former County Judge Bob Hebert.
“It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of former Fort Bend County Judge Robert E. “Bob” Hebert.
“Judge Hebert dedicated many years of his life to serving the people of Fort Bend County. Throughout his tenure, he helped guide our county during a period of remarkable growth and faced some of the most challenging moments in our community’s history with a steadfast commitment to public service.
“Public service is built upon the efforts of those who come before us, and Judge Hebert’s years of leadership leave a lasting mark on Fort Bend County. His dedication to this community and its residents will long be remembered.
“On behalf of Fort Bend County, I extend my deepest condolences to Pat, the entire Hebert family, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. We join them in mourning his passing and honoring a life devoted to the service of others.”
