We would like to thank Darlene Bauman for arranging our speaker for our August AARP Meeting. We will be welcoming Sheila Dolbow. Sheila is with the Texas Hospital Association and will be providing information on Directives to Physicians and Family or Surrogates (Living Will). We will have copies of the Advanced Directives for you to pick up and we will also have a Notary so you will have an opportunity to have them notarized at the meeting. This will be a good opportunity to have one done, if you have not done so, or make any changes to one you may have in place.
We will also have a speaker from Suvida, who will talk about other opportunities for assistance for Seniors. This should be a very informative meeting, helping Seniors become more knowledgeable.
