NAM HOLDS ANNUAL VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION LUNCHEON

HOUSTON, TX—Tuesday, April 23, 2024, Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) hosted their annual volunteer appreciation luncheon at Shirley Acres.

The luncheon included a welcome from NAM’s CEO and President Les Cave, followed by an invocation by Pastor Anthony Chatman of Hosanna Lutheran Church.

This year NAM honored JoNell McMathand Arlene Morton (pictured above on the left), who have been volunteers of NAM for over 40 years. The awards were presented by Paula and Mark Stoebner (pictured above on the right), long time volunteers and 2021 honorees.

In addition, over 200 guests enjoyed a delicious meal and entertainment by the very talented Texas Master Chorale Quartet.

Northwest Assistance Ministries is a non-profit, community-based social service agency that strives to meet basic human needs through Neighbors Helping Neighbors. NAM provides assistance in areas such as food, shelter, health, education and domestic violence awareness and intervention. During its last fiscal year, NAM touched the lives of more than 117,000 people through its many programs and services.
