(ROSENBERG, TEXAS) Mayor Kevin Raines spoke to over 275 business owners and residents at the Central Fort Bend Chamber’s annual State of the City Rosenberg luncheon held on February 15, 2024 at the Rosenberg Civic Center.
The theme of the Mayor’s address was #RTown Thrives (Teamwork, Hometown, Respect, Integrity, Vision, Employees and Service). Mayor Raines shared the strategic plan for the next five years, along with the new mission statement: Provide exception services that create and sustain a safe, livable and vibrant community; and vision statement: Building a better tomorrow together by cultivating a City that is financially strong, with a thriving economy, quality infrastructure and dynamic culture. The Mayor concluded the event with his infamous Central Fort Bend T-Shirt Toss.
This year’s State of the City luncheon was presented by Si Environmental. Underwriter sponsors included CivilCorp LLC, CMT Technical Servcies, Frost Bank-Brazos Town Center Financial Center, GFL Environmental Inc., Kaluza Inc., Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, NewQuest Properties, Odyssey Engineering Group, Planned Community Developers, Quiddity Engineering, Texas Regional Bank, Texas State Technical College, and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
The proceeds from the event will help the Central Fort Bend Chamber uphold their mission to cultivate community connections, advocate for business and facilitate growth.
