The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host a webinar to introduce a new program available to the business community, electronic certificates of origin. The virtual event will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. The Fort Bend Chamber is partnering with the American World Trade Chamber of Commerce (AWTCC), to offer electronic chamber stamped Certificate of Origin and export related documents (legalization requests, management reports, certificates of free sale, etc.). Attendees will also learn of som other advantages through this partnership including:
- The authenticity of each document can be verified by customs worldwide through the International Chamber of Commerce Accreditation Chain.
- This new service provides same day processing print certified documents at your own desk!
- Ensures you have taken all steps to comply with rules, regulations, and international industry best practices.
- Helps you achieve objectives in terms of quality, cost, scheduling, performance.
Joining us for this one-hour webinar is Partnerships Manager, Alex Sonifrank, from the AWTCC. Alex has assisted with customs clearance for exporters throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. He has presented on country of origin alongside the U.S. Commercial Service and various organizations throughout the United States. The AWTCC is the U.S. representative to the ICC WCF International Certificate of Origin Council and the first U.S. chamber accredited by the ICC on certificates of origin.
