U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, today issued the following statement on the U.S. Supreme Court’s (SCOTUS) decision regarding the Texas heartbeat law limiting abortion:
“Every life is a gift from God, and without life, there is no liberty—that’s why I’m proud to stand up and defend life. Today, the Supreme Court largely left in place a Texas law that protects life and sends a message that every life is valuable. This is victory for Texas and the pro-life movement.”
