Lone Star Symphonic Band Patriotic Concert 2021
The Lone Star Symphonic Band Performs “Celebrate America”
On June 27, 2021, the Lone Star Symphonic Band gladly returns!
We are excited to bring the Katy community a rousing patriotic concert aptly titled “Celebrate America”.
Date, Time, and Location:
Sunday, June 27th, 2021. The concert will begin at 4 pm at Holy Covenant United Methodist Church located at 22111 Morton Rd, Katy, Texas.
Posting of the Colors:
American Legion Post #164 will present the US and Texas Flags at the beginning of the concert, and will also present the flags of each of the US Military Branches during Salute to the Armed Forces.
Ticketing:
FREE!!
We have a 400-person capacity limit due to venue health and safety regulations,
therefore seating is on a first-come, first-served basis until we reach capacity with preference given to our season ticket holders from the 2019-2020 season.
Season Ticket Holders – Doors open at 3 pm for seating
Physical ticket appreciated but not required.
Provide your name only at the door.
General Public – Doors open at 3:30
If capacity has not been reached, we welcome you to our free concert!
Concert Program:
Program selections will feature songs celebrating and honoring the history and strengths of our great nation. We are unable to incorporate the 65+ voices of our community chorus due to the limits encountered with previous COVID-19 restrictions. You are encouraged to attend and join in singing as we “Celebrate America”. Selections include:

Silent Auction:
We will have 28 silent auction baskets up for auction online on concert day. Winners will be announced in the second half of the concert. Winners may pick up their baskets at the church on July 4th at the church 12-2 pm. Stay tuned for the auction email with links and basket information!
Post-Concert Celebration
After the concert on June 27th, band members, patrons, friends, and family are invited to join us at Texas Borders for food, drink, and celebration!
