U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, today issued the following statement in response to President Biden’s announcement that he will order a commission to study expanding the Supreme Court:
“President Biden’s announcement is no surprise as Democrats have long signaled their intent to pack the Supreme Court with activist judges to rubber stamp their radical agenda. I urge my colleagues to act swiftly and pass my proposals to prevent the expansion of the Supreme Court so America can preserve the integrity and independence of the Judiciary.”
