Richmond, TX…Myrtis B. “Tiny” Gates celebrated her 102 birthday on January 8 while recovering in OakBend Medical Center’s newly renovated fifth floor. Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, Tiny now lives in Pecan Grove. All smiles, Tiny was surrounded by family, friends and OakBend staff while she enjoyed her favorite vanilla cake decorated with pink, her favorite color.
