Katy Defeats Klein Collins to Win State Softball Title
By George Slaughter The Katy girls softball team won the Class 6A girls softball state title Saturday night, defeating Klein Collins, 8-2. Katy finishes its season with a 37-2 record. The win gives the Lady Tigers their second state title in softball. The first title came in 2015, when coach Kalum Haack’s program defeated Lewisville.
