Members of American Legion Post 164 and Auxiliary in Katy will be at three locations on Saturday, Aug. 18 to collect damaged and worn-out American flags. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., members will be outside of Snappy’s (5803 Hwy. Blvd.), Katy Hardware (559 Pin Oak Road), and Lowe’s (I-10 and Fry Road). The flags will be retired at a ceremony on Nov. 11.
