LinkedIn is the world’s largest social-media network for professionals and is a great vehicle for connecting with other business people. Find out how to make the best use of LinkedIn to network and engage with contacts and businesses. Learn how to create an online profile that will enhance one’s marketability beyond a resumé, and become familiar with online etiquette in the LinkedIn virtual community. The program is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Classes & Events,” select “Cinco Ranch Branch Library,” and find the program.
