Learn how to transform an old book into a unique piece of art! Discover ways to form simple shapes and images, such as an Easter egg, by folding pages of a book. No cutting, gluing, or special equipment is needed for this simple craft project. The project is a fun way to re-use old books and give them a new purpose. The resulting piece can be put on display or given as a gift. Registration required.

Prices range from 10¢ for children’s books and 50¢ for adult paperback books up to $1.00 for select hardback books. The Friends of the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library organization is instrumental in funding library programs such as the children’s Summer Reading Challenge.
