The Maud Marks Library hosts three book clubs that meet monthly. Our two in-house book clubs will be celebrating our Fashion Fusion display. Booked This Afternoon meets on the second Thursday of the month, January 9th, at 2 PM. We will be discussing The Gown by Jennifer Robson. The Just Desserts Mystery Book Club will meet on Wednesday, January 15, at 2 PM. We will be discussing Killer Look by Linda Fairstein. You are encouraged to bring your favorite dessert to eat while we discuss whether our villains get their just desserts.
Want to join a book club but can’t make it to the library? We have another one in the community. Join us at the Bagel Café (631 S Mason Rd, Katy, TX 77450) for our newest book club, Book Club Café. On the second Monday, January 13 at 11 AM, join us for bagels, coffee, and books as we discuss The Paris Seamstress by Natasha Lester. We will also have copies of our January selection available at that time.
