The Maud Marks Library hosts two book clubs that meet monthly. The Booked This Afternoon meets on the second Thursday of the month, December 12th, at 2 PM. We will be discussing Mr. Dickens and His Carol by Samantha Silva. The Just Desserts Mystery Book Club will meet on Wednesday, December 18 at 2 PM. We will be discussing The Twelve Dogs of Christmas by David Rosenfeldt. You are encouraged to bring your favorite dessert to eat while we discuss whether our villains get their just desserts.
Want to join a book club but can’t make it to the library? We have another one starting in the community. Join us at the Bagel Café (631 S Mason Rd, Katy, TX 77450) for our newest book club, Book Club Café. On the second Monday, December 9 at 11 AM, join us for bagels, coffee, and books as we discuss The Gingerbread Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke. We will also have copies of our January selection available at that time.
