DEPUTY TO SHARE PUBLIC-SAFETY TIPS AT CINCO RANCH BRANCH LIBRARY

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library will have a special program on “Campus-Safety Tips” on Saturday, July 20, from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.

Deputy Gerard Argao from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office will discuss general personal-safety recommendations to increase one’s chances of remaining safe in public places, including dorms, apartments, and at ATM machines. Hear about Campus Crime-Prevention Standards, including resources and drug-related incidents.

Deputy Argao is a certified law-enforcement instructor and a certified crime-prevention practitioner through T.C.O.L.E.
