It’s never too soon to start preparing for the holiday season! Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library will present two programs in October to start off the fall and winter holidays.
“Professional Holiday Portraits on a Budget” will take place on Saturday, October 1, from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon, in the Meeting Room of the library.
Learn how to take professional-looking holiday portraits with lighting equipment commonly found around one’s house or garage. Hands-on demonstrations will be provided during the presentation, using both a digital SLR camera and an iPhone camera. This class is presented by professional photographer Bryan Bankston, who specializes in creative-lighting techniques.
“Harvest-Themed Watercolor Greeting Cards” will take place on Friday, October 7, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, in the Conference Room of the library.
Get tips on how to make beautiful, personalized greeting cards with watercolor paint. Materials for this class are provided courtesy of the Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library. Reservations are required.
