Guitarist, composer, and poet Susan McDonald combines science and music to showcase creatures of the marine aquarium. McDonald has delighted audiences around the world, from local community centers to Carnegie Hall, with her mesmerizing words and music. A protégé of the legendary guitar master Pepe Romero, her studies took her from the University of St. Thomas in Houston to the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria, and finally to a residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts in the Canadian Rockies. She is on the touring rosters of Texas Commission on the Arts, Mid-American Arts Alliance, and Young Audiences of Houston.
