Cinco Ranch Branch Library Launches New Monthly Book Club

Cinco Ranch Branch Library Launches New Monthly Book Club

Oct 14, 2021

People in the Katy area who enjoy reading mysteries are invited to help launch a new book club at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library. The first meeting of the “The Butler Did It” Mystery Book Club will be on Thursday, October 14, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. Book-club meetings currently take place online, live-streamed through Zoom, so that readers can interact with others in real time and participate from home!

The book to be discussed for the first meeting is Chasing Darkness, an Elvis Cole novel written by Robert Crais. This title is available in print and digitally on OverDrive. Additional print copies of the book are available at the checkout desk.

Join in this inaugural meeting of the “The Butler Did It” Mystery Book Club and help launch the new club to a great start! The book club will meet monthly on the second Thursday.

The book club is free and open to the public. Registration is required; a link to the Zoom session will be emailed to all who register. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Classes & Events,” select “Virtual Programs,” and find the program on the date indicated. Participants may also register by calling the Cinco Ranch Branch Library at 281-395-1311.
