Igloo Is Helping You Gear Up For An Epic Summer With A Massively Expanded Collection Of ‘80s/‘90s-Inspired Retro Coolers In Rad New Colors

Today, Igloo released a brand-new and very radical Retro Collection of hardside and softside coolers. Inspired by ‘80s and ‘90s styles, including coolers Igloo originally released decades ago, the expanded Retro Collection includes nine styles assorted into five amazing color combinations, all available now at igloocoolers.com/retrocollection.

“I love this Retro Collection! Our original Retro Collection was an instant hit, and this major expansion makes it even more excellent,” said Brian Garofalow, Chief Marketing Officer at Igloo. “Two years ago, we launched with three throwback designs from our 1992 product catalog, added on three more styles last year, and this year we’re taking Retro to the max! We’re already seeing our fans planning for an amazing summer of outdoor adventures and know our Retro Collection products will help them turn up the fun!”

Igloo’s Retro Collection comes in colors and styles inspired by ’80 and ’90s fashion, including actual cooler styles in jade/magenta/yellow that Igloo first released 1992, like the Picnic Basket, Half-Gallon Jug and Barrel of Fun. The five Retro hardside coolers range in size from the 7-quart Little Playmate to the new Family 36-Quart Cooler, while the four Retro softside coolers come in fanny pack, backpack, lunch bag and duffel bag styles. All the coolers are available in a varied assortment of new Retro color combinations, including light blue/green, electric watermelon/aquamarine, yellow/mint and purple/aquamarine.

About Igloo:

Born from a modest metalworking shop back in 1947, Igloo has been instrumental in redefining how we live, work and play. What began with bringing clean water to the worksite quickly moved into super-functional, best-in-class ice chests. Igloo products made the family outdoor recreation movement of the 20th century possible. Suddenly, taking your kids camping on the weekend became easy and cross-country road trips became a summer vacation staple.

As we approach our next century, Igloo is 1,200 employees strong. We are proud to call—a 1.8-million-square-foot, three-building facility in—Katy, Texas home. With more than 500 products sold at thousands of retailers around the globe, we can confidently call ourselves the number one cooler manufacturer in the world.

And through it all we haven’t lost sight of our original goal—to create products that enable the pursuit of happiness (however you define it). That’s why we’re still working hard every day to innovate, create and make it easier for you to get out, work hard and play even harder.
