“Reimagining” Community Engagement with Katy ISD
(Katy, Texas) – Katy ISD’s Partners in Education (PIE) kicked off the 2020-2021 school year with a new look and redesigned logos for PIE as well as all the umbrella programs, including flagships like KEYS Mentoring and Volunteers in Public Schools. The brand refresh, a component of the district’s Strategic Design process, comes at a time when Partners in Education is developing a new, revitalized approach to community engagement.
The bright, new PIE logo reflects the ongoing exchange of ideas and communication across diverse groups, while the umbrella programs share the same contoured lines and shapes to reflect their own unique purpose, like intertwined speech bubbles for KEYS Mentoring. The result is a streamlined, professional brand for Partners in Education and its programs.
Executive Director Janet Theis said, “Katy ISD has reinvigorated decades-long programs, not just their look and feel, and in doing so have created new pathways for community volunteers to contribute and be part of school communities. We’ve been handed the opportunity to dig below the surface and modernize, reinvent every facet of our programs and proceed with renewed faith and enthusiasm into the next decade.”
With this new look, Partners in Education is proud to debut the 2020/2021 marketing brochure. The interactive version is available on the PIE website and limited quantities of the print version will be available.
