Ski Mask the Slump God is a rapper from Broward County, Florida. Inspired by MCs such as Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, Ski Mask has a fast, playful flow, and his cartoonish persona edges slightly toward the morbid. He met XXXTENTACION at a juvenile detention center, and upon release, they started a group called Very Rare, followed by another one called Members Only. Beginning in 2015, Ski Mask began uploading music to SoundCloud and released several mixtapes. Tracks such as “I Like Bricks” and “Kate Moss” began racking up millions of plays, and he toured with XXXTENTACION and Desiigner. Late 2016 brought “Take a Step Back,” and Ski Mask celebrated his 21st birthday in April 2017 with single “BabyWipe” The song appeared as part of his deal with Republic Records, which also issued his debut mixtape, YouWillRegret. ~Paul Simpson, Rovi

Zhavia Ward is a vibrant new force, a striking beauty. She sports a cascade of blond locks that her mother started for her back when she was 13. Mainly an amalgam of R&B and Hip Hop, this 18-year-old’s musical inspirations have no limit; she says that each feeling has a different sound. While her body is adorned with an eclectic palette of purposeful tattoos; she is full of love for music, fashion, and life. She calls herself an eternal optimist and a woman with a plan. Coming from Norwalk, California, Zhavia grew up moving over 15 times trying to find a stable life. The daughter of two aspiring performers, she was fueled by dreams and surrounded by music – everything from gospel, house, reggae, rap and doo-wop to rock and metal. As a child she would always sing around the house, write songs, and poems.

Residing in so many different neighborhoods and communities opened her eyes to the breadth and diversity of people’s backgrounds and experiences. A high school graduate at 16, Zhavia’s continuing education was on how to craft a song, develop stage presence and make a professional career out of her dream.

The Four: Battle for Stardom launched Zhavia’s professional career. Though Zhavia did not win the show, she became an undeniable stand out before an admiring national audience and amassed a dedicated and loyal fan base. Following that year she signed to Columbia records. In late 2018, she released her debut single “Candlelight,” with follow-ups “100 Ways” and “Deep Down”.

“Angela Yee’s Lip Service”podcast was first created to provide an outlet for women to express themselves and to help men understand how women think.Angela noticed there was a void of women on radio having discussions about sexuality and a stigma around intimate conversations about women and their bodies.“Traditionally, women have been taught to suppress their voices and even be ashamed to engage in dialogue about our desires, fetishes, bedroom preferences, and personal experiences.“Lip Service”is a safe, non-judgmental space to learn from each other and have the freedom to say “I tried that before’ or ‘I’ve always wanted to experiment with this,’” Yee explains.“Angela Yee’s Lip Service”also stars co-hosts GiGi Maguire, Lore’l,and Stephanie Santiago. The four women are candid about their relationships and have the unique ability to get a variety of guests to open up in a way you’ll never hear anywhere else like 50 Cent, Plies, D.L. Amain Berhane produces a casual and mellifluous style of R&B under the name Berhana. The singer, songwriter, and producer grew up near Atlanta, Georgia and was drawn to music as a youngster, but after high school he opted to study screenwriting at The New School in New York City and acted in some short films. Music eventually became another serious form of expression for Berhane. He made his recorded debut in 2016 with a self-titled and self-released EP. Among its six cuts was “Janet,” which paid tribute to actor Janet Hubert with a clever reference to her controversial replacement as Aunt Viv on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Hubert caught the song’s video and expressed her appreciation via social media. Despite the support and increased exposure, Berhane opted to take his time with new material. In March 2018, the EP received another boost from Donald Glover’s Atlanta series, the “Money Bag Shorty” episode of which incorporated the closing ballad “Grey Luh.” A little over a week later, Berhane was back with a dazed cover of Wreckless Eric’s 1977 punk-pop classic “Whole Wide World.” ~ Andy Kellman

Keane is a beloved English rock band originating from Battle, East Sussex comprised of Tim Rice-Oxley (composer and pianist), Tom Chaplin (lead vocals), Richard Hughes (drummer) and Jesse Quin (bassist).

By 2013, Keane had released four full length LPs all reaching number 1 in the UK album charts and sold 12 million albums worldwide. Hopes and Fears, their debut, had entered the list of the 40 best-selling albums in the UK of all time, and they had toured more than 40 countries. After 15 years, and having been friends since childhood, the band were just about ready to call it a day and in 2013 they bowed out with a show in Berlin that felt like an ending – and then everything went quiet on the Keane front.

After releasing two solo albums, Tom realized there was something missing from his life – a relationship that was so pivotal, it felt like family. He realized he longed to see Tim again, so they met up, only for Tim to reveal that he had been working on some new material for what he had planned to be a solo album. “It felt like a story that I could help articulate.” And so the band reconvened, all four of them excited to realize they could make something powerful together, something new.

Keane will be playing select festivals around the UK and Europe this summer for the first time since 2013, with new music and additional l
