September 18 event to highlight career path in surgical technology
HOUSTON, Texas (Sept. 12, 2019)—On September 18, Altierus Career College in Houston will host an open house to help the public and prospective students understand career paths in nursing and surgical technology.
Altierus will provide a tour of the surgical technology and other healthcare program labs, which include industry-current equipment to help students learn hands-on such as lifelike mannequins that imitate the human body and realistic clinic and hospital settings. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience what it is like to be part of a dynamic healthcare team and will learn about the unique benefits to the programs at Altierus, such as a scholarship that reimburses half a student’s tuition in the surgical technology program after graduation and exam completion.
Attendees can also sign up for programs during the open houses. New classes start October 7 for both programs.
