1st Annual Chappell Hill Beer, Music & Wine Festival Set for Aug. 24

The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the “1st Annual Chappell Hill Beer, Music & Wine Festival” in downtown Chappell Hill this Saturday, August 24 from Noon to 8PM. “We are inviting all of our friends and neighbors to come out to Chappell Hill this Saturday and not only enjoy some great local beer and wine, but shop and dine throughout the day and of course experience a captivating line-up of music that has been put together,” stressed John Wick, Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce President.

“We wanted to be sure and not only engage those individuals making last minute trips to the area, but also provide everyone an opportunity to experience Chappell Hill’s charm while winding down the summer.  The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce has put together a great line-up of music headlined by the Black Cat Choir and with the Jeff Jacobs Band and Aaron Loesch playing earlier in the day.  This will give everyone an opportunity to come to spend the weekend in Chappell Hill, get in some local shopping, have lunch or dinner and enjoy our wine and beer entrepreneurs, Texas Star Winery & Coalfox Brewing Company.  The music stage will be set up on Poplar Lot, directly under the water tower and both Chappell Hill Bakery & Deli and Chappell Hill Sausage will be set up and Bevers Kitchen will stay open late Saturday for everyone to enjoy dinner.  Additional vendors at this year’s Inaugural event include Thai Cowboy, Blackwood Educational Learning Institute, Whatever Pops Up, & Alberts Lemonade Stand. There will be plenty of non-alcoholic beverages & food, seating areas and large evaporative cooling fans supplied by Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative as well as a misting tent for those that want to cool off quickly. The Providence Baptist Church, Rock Store, Circulating Library and Museum will be open to visit and for cooling down.  Chappell Hill has numerous bed & breakfast and Airbnbs to choose from, just visit our website for lodging accommodations,” concluded Wick.

Those attending the Festival are encouraged to park at the Masonic Lot off of FM 2447 which is just $5.00, there absolutely no street parking or outside alcoholic beverages allowed.
