Typhoon Texas Hosts Discount Days for Military Personnel, Teachers & Cancer Research

HOUSTON, TX (August 6, 2019) – A tidal wave of special discount days are coming to Typhoon Texas when the west Houston waterpark presents money-saving deals for active and retired military, teachers and those supporting cancer research.

Friday, August 9: Day passes for military and family members are $17.76. Typhoon Texas hosts Patriot Day Friday, August 9 when active and retired military and their families can enjoy a full day of waterpark fun for just $17.76 per person.  Kids under 2 are free.  Tickets are available at the waterpark or online at http://typhoontexas.pfestore.com/retail/patriotday. Military personnel must be prepared to show their valid ID.

Saturday, August 10: $25 admission for Pink the Park.  Sponsored by HCA Houston Healthcare, Pink the Park presents savings on day passes while raising money for cancer research.  For every $25 day pass purchased online for Saturday, August 10, Typhoon Texas will donate $5 to the American Cancer Society. Sunday, August 25:  School teachers, faculty and staff are free! Educators Appreciation Day comes to Typhoon Texas Sunday, August 25 when teachers, faculty and staff enjoy free admission.  Educators must register for the free admission by entering their school email address at https://tinyurl.com/TTEducatorAug25.  Educators much show their 2018-2019 or 2019-2020 school ID at any admission window to redeem a free ticket.  Educators also can purchase up to five general admission tickets for 50% off each at $22.50 at the ticket window only.

Typhoon Texas is located at 555 Katy Fort Bend Rd. next to Katy Mills Mall, 1.5 miles west of the Grand Parkway.  Free onsite parking available.
