Parks Youth Ranch (PYR) announces its 8th annual Cowboy Up set for Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 7pm in The Lodge at Safari Texas presented by Fred & Mabel R. Parks Foundation. Cowboy Up will feature live music by the Nigel Edison Band, a BBQ dinner, dessert bar and both live and silent auctions. George from 100.3 FM The Morning Bull will be the emcee. Put on your hat and boots to join over 400 Houston and Fort Bend area leaders, business owners and community members as we dance the night away in support of Parks Youth Ranch.
PYR opened its doors in 2011 to provide emergency shelter, counseling and life changing services to at-risk and homeless youth. Located in southern Fort Bend County, PYR is a 28-bed emergency shelter that provides services to abused and neglected youth ages 7 to 17. Since opening the shelter has provided over 45,000 nights of shelter and has served over 1,100 children.
